Terms of Service
Terms for using Write Custody Agreement.
Last updated: 2026-10-10
Acceptance
By accessing or using Write Custody Agreement, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Drafting Tool, Not Legal Advice
The service provides educational information and automated drafting assistance. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. AI-generated material may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your circumstances.
Custody rules and court requirements vary by jurisdiction. You are responsible for reviewing every output, confirming all facts, and obtaining advice from a qualified family-law attorney before signing, relying on, or filing any document. The service does not guarantee that a court will accept or enforce an agreement.
Pet ownership and care rules also vary by state and circumstance. A pet agreement draft is a private document, not a court order. Have a local attorney review it before signing or using it in a legal proceeding.
Emergencies and Safety
Do not use the service for emergencies, immediate safety risks, suspected abuse, or situations requiring urgent legal protection. Contact local emergency services, an appropriate protection agency, or a qualified attorney.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
Acceptable Use
You may not:
- violate applicable laws or another person's rights;
- submit content you are not authorized to use;
- attempt to access another user's account, conversation, or data;
- probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or bypass service security;
- use the service to threaten, harass, exploit, or harm any person; or
- submit malware, automated abuse, or deceptive content.
Your Content
You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to process that content, operate the service, generate requested outputs, maintain security, and meet legal obligations. You are responsible for having the authority to provide information about another parent, child, or household member.
AI Outputs
Outputs are generated from your inputs and automated systems. Similar outputs may be provided to other users. You are responsible for reviewing and editing outputs before use. Do not rely on an output as the sole basis for a legal, financial, medical, safety, or parenting decision.
Pet Agreement Writer
Each account may generate one successful pet agreement. Before submitting, you can review and edit your answers. After a draft is successfully generated, you can view and download that saved draft, but you cannot revise it within the service or generate another pet agreement from the same account. A failed or incomplete generation does not use this opportunity. You may edit a downloaded copy outside the service for your own review; that does not update the saved draft.
Availability and Changes
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Third-party services, including AI providers, may affect availability and output quality.
Fees
Standard and Premium are one-time purchases for one complete agreement. The price shown at checkout may include an active scheduled discount. The server-calculated checkout total controls the transaction. You are responsible for applicable taxes and accurate billing information.
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, fees for completed digital-service delivery are non-refundable after drafting access or credits have been used. If you believe a charge was duplicated, unauthorized, or processed incorrectly, submit a support ticket promptly so it can be reviewed.
Intellectual Property
The service, design, software, and related materials are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a terms violation, legal requirement, security risk, nonpayment, or harm to the service or others. You may stop using the service at any time.
Disclaimers and Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, legal effect, or uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions or liability limits, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
Contact
For billing questions, account issues, or questions about these terms, sign in and submit a support ticket. Do not use the ticket system for emergencies or time-sensitive legal matters.
